Georgian Foreign Ministry handed a protest note to Russia: Moscow without the consent of Tbilisi holds elections on someone else’s territory
Russian Ambassador Vyacheslav Kovalenko on Tuesday was summoned to the Georgian Foreign Ministry to give explanations in connection with Abkhazia and South Ossetia election of the President of Russia. Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Tbilisi was handed a protest note. Ambassador Meets Deputy Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, who demanded an explanation in connection with the election of Russia on foreign soil, transmits Interfax. As reported in the Department of Information and Press Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Georgian side expresses protest at the fact that without her consent on the territory of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region’s elections, President of the Russian Federation. ”
