Georgian opposition quashed a protest

The rally, which is “united opposition” Georgia had planned to take place in the center of Tbilisi on 8 January, did not take place. The decision not to hold a protest, according to the source, was taken “after the long meeting.” Opponents of power yet intend to fight for revision of the election results by legal means.
