Georgian expert suggested a cunning plan for the recognition of Abkhazia
Famous Georgian expert Mamuka Areshidze believes that Georgia should take in respect of Abkhazia unexpected actions. In particular, he suggested that official Tbilisi to initiate the creation of Georgian-Abkhazian format for the recognition of Abkhazia’s independence.
As written by the Georgian newspaper “Resonance, Mamuka Areshidze notes that the situation in Abkhazia, gives no grounds for optimism. Georgia should be taken immediately against Abkhazia steps that will be able to distance it from Russia, said Georgian expert.
“We need to be taken special measures to not even to bring Abkhazia and Abkhazians to return. At the very least to stop their assimilation in the territory of Abkhazia”, - advises Areshidze Georgian authorities.
At the same time, the expert believes that the independence of Abkhazia, Georgia shall provide, under certain conditions, for example - the return of refugees.
“I want to say one thing: the time of traditional approaches is over. Our opponent, who has a huge resource as powerful in politics and diplomacy and military sphere, is ahead of us in all actions. Therefore, we should take such an unexpected move, which is to disarm an opponent will cause a certain distancing between him and Abkhazia, “- said Mamuka Areshidze.
“Today I also would have given the independence of Abkhazia, if I had such an opportunity,” - said the expert.
