In Georgia Veterans Day Victory will receive 200 GEL

Victory Day World War II veterans in Georgia and home front workers receive financial assistance from the government, reported IA “News-Georgia”. The benefit will amount to 200 lari (about $ 115).
Veterans will also be awarded commemorative medals “65 th anniversary of victory over fascism.”

The Georgian government is reportedly developing a program of celebrations to the Day of victory. May 9 in the country is an official holiday and the day off.
