Saakashvili did not rule out a new war in the region and compared himself to Churchill
The Georgian leadership does not exclude the option of renewed armed conflict in the region adjacent to its western and northern borders, with the participation of Georgian troops. The statement was made in London, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, speaking at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), ITAR-TASS.
According to the agency, Saakashvili during speeches also compared himself with Winston Churchill. “I feel hot and warlike, but also in the initial characterization, this American community to Churchill, it is also called hot and warlike,” - said the Georgian leader.
He also announced that as soon as the Georgian military units appear in the Afghan province of Helmand, where now a broad operation are American and British troops.
