Tbilisi is ready to discuss deployment of U.S. missile defense system in Georgia

Georgia is ready to consider placing on its territory of elements of U.S. missile defense, said Deputy Foreign Ministry Alexander Nalbandov.

"If the U.S. side to contact us with such a request, we are ready to consider it," - said Nalbandov.

However, responding to a question, the diplomat noted that the topic at a meeting of the Georgian-US working group will not be considered.
