United States: Education Georgian army will continue

United States intend to continue training the Georgian army. However, the instructors would be sent only to those parts that are planned to send to Afghanistan. This was at a press conference in Tbilisi said the former Deputy Assistant United States Secretary of State Matthew Bryza.

According to agency Trend, U.S. representative emphasized that the weapons delivered to Georgia will not be, and training troops for participation in the counter-terrorist operations will not cause serious complications. "And Russia recognizes that terrorism in Afghanistan must stop", - said M. Bryza.

Recall that after a recent visit to Tbilisi, U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden, Russian diplomats and politicians have expressed serious concerns on the possible plans for Washington to rebuild the Georgian army and its rearmament. Moreover, the permanent representative of Russia to NATO Dmitry Rogozin said that even possible sanctions against American companies that will guide the offensive weapons systems in the Transcaucasian republics.

The Russian government, in turn, warned about the willingness to suspend military-technical cooperation with Member States, which will supply the Georgian weapons or military equipment of Russia or the Soviet development.
